Fairy Tales Come True: Worlds from the Imagination of Hans Christian Andersen Exhibition

In 2020, UAEBBY, in partnership with the Sharjah Museums Authority, curated the enchanting 'Fairy Tales Come True: Worlds from the Imagination of Hans Christian Andersen' exhibition. This event was a celebration of Sharjah's designation as the World Book Capital and marked the city as the location of the first-ever Andersen exhibition in the Arab region.

The exhibition featured high-resolution reproductions of Hans Christian Andersen's drawings, manuscripts, papercuts, and other artworks, generously provided by Odense City Museums. Additionally, it offered interactive displays and props that brought the world of Andersen's beloved fairy tales to life.
