Over the years, UAEBBY has steadfastly pursued its mission, achieving notable recognition for its exceptional contributions. In 2016, UAEBBY was presented with the ‘UAE Pioneers Award' in the category of ‘Best NGO encouraging reading among youth’ during the 'Year of Reading.' This prestigious recognition was presented by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. The award was a testament to the impact of UAEBBY's 'Read. Dream. Create' campaign, which was launched in 2013. Furthermore, as part of the same initiative, Etisalat was honored with the award for the ‘Best Private Entity Initiative Encouraging Children to Read’ due to its official sponsorship of the "Etisalat Award for Arabic Children's Literature," an award organized by UAEBBY.

RegisterCreative Writing Competition
As part of our Read, Dream, Create campaign, launched in 2013, the Creative Writing Competition was introduced to inspire young authors across the UAE to unleash their imagination and bring their stories to life. Open to children and young adults aged 6 to 18, this competition provides a vibrant platform for aspiring writers to craft original stories, enhance them with illustrations (if they wish), and share their creativity with the world.
With categories tailored to different age groups, participants have the chance to showcase their talent and win exciting prizes. Whether it’s a short story or a longer narrative, every submission nurtures creativity, fosters a love for reading, and encourages young minds to dream big.
