"Kan Yama Kan," derived from the phrase often used to commence Arabic children's stories, is an initiative launched in 2015. Its primary mission is to provide high-quality books to children residing in areas that face challenges in accessing books due to various social or natural circumstances, including unrest and conflicts.

These books are intended to serve as valuable sources of knowledge, entertainment, and psychological support. Annually, in the spirit of the holy month of Ramadan and in line with the UAE’s vision of giving, Kan Yama Kan orchestrates book donation drives across the Emirates. These campaigns involve the collection of books, which are subsequently distributed to children living in less privileged conditions around the world through a network of partnering organizations.
